The Ban

The Government’s Hunting Act became law on February 18th 2005. But hunting continues.

Although hunting with dogs was banned 2 hounds can still be used to “stalk” and flush a fox to a gunman, to be shot dead. This fox can then be used as a drag for the rest of the day; this then provides a cover for illegal hunting. As a full pack of hounds chases after a drag they are likely to hunt foxes as before, but claim any deaths are accidental.

Sadly the animals still await justice and so the work of hunt saboteurs continues.
